United for liberty:
The journey of resilience

We aspire to build a legacy of freedom and peace for future generations

"In the Spirit of Unity and global responsability, we stand with people charishing democratic values, igniting the flames of freedom and justice across borders for a future where human dignity prevails."   - House of Liberty

House of Liberty, a dynamic European NGO, is devoted to empowering individuals and societies in their pursuit of freedom, human rights, and democracy, particularly focusing on challenging environments like Iran. Our multifaceted approach encompasses advocacy, legal action, and diplomacy to address challenges and catalyze positive change in regions where these fundamental values are under threat.

Our strategy is geared towards raising awareness of human rights abuses, with a special emphasis on spotlighting the crimes of oppressive regimes, notably the Iranian government's infringements. We engage with global governments, policymakers, international entities, parliamentarians, and civil society organizations, stressing our shared responsibility to bolster democratic principles in critical areas, including Iran, where the quest for democracy faces significant obstacles.

We strongly believe in the power of collective action. House of Liberty collaborates with an extensive network of NGOs across Europe and the United States, pooling resources and expertise to unify efforts for the promotion of freedom and democracy. This collaboration extends to supporting the Iranian people's aspirations for a democratic society, highlighting our commitment to not only addressing the challenges they face but also amplifying their voices on the global stage. Through these concerted efforts, we aim to make a lasting impact, advocating for the rights and freedoms of individuals in Iran and beyond.

Our mission was ignited on September 16, 2022, in response to the heart-wrenching murder of Jina Mahsa Amini by the Islamic regime, which also sparked the brave protests across Iran demanding freedom. This pivotal moment galvanized a wave of committed activists to join the fight for freedom and peace.

A landmark endeavor was the European campaign spearheaded by Alireza Akhondi, a member of the Swedish Parliament. His leadership aimed to secure the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization by the European Union. This initiative  consolidated the efforts of diaspora activists and established a formidable global network, enhancing our unified voice against an adversary that makes this struggle amongst the toughest.
